Job summary

EXASOFT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an L3 support engineer for VMware Horizon View and VDI environments. You will handle complex incidents, escalations, and troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues to improve user experience.

You will manage Horizon components (Connection Servers, UAG, Composer/Instant Clones), perform RCA, implement fixes, oversee gold image management and security, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while documenting health metrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide L3 support for VMware Horizon View VDI environment, handling complex incidents and escalations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced VDI issues related to connectivity, performance, and user experience.
• Manage and maintain Horizon components including Connection Servers, Unified Access Gateways (UAG), Composer/Instant Clones.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues.
• Oversee gold image management, patching, and application delivery within the VDI environment.
• Monitor and optimize VDI performance, capacity, and availability to meet SLA requirements.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, security, and EUC teams for end-to-end service stability.
• Implement and enforce security policies and access controls within the Horizon environment.
• Automate and enhance operations using PowerShell, scripting, and Horizon tools.
• Maintain documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication on system health and improvements.
