UX Designer – End-to-End User Research & Design

Job summary

The Housing and Development Board is seeking a proactive User Experience Designer to research and design end-to-end experiences for its digital products. You will champion human-centric design, work with product teams, and ensure accessibility and design system adherence.

Responsibilities include leading user research, mapping journeys, creating wireframes and hi-fi prototypes, and iterating through usability testing with stakeholders in a collaborative product team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant UX/interaction design experience.
• Strong understanding of design systems and component libraries.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive interfaces.
• Proficient in Figma and other industry-standard tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute user research to uncover needs and opportunities.
• Document As-Is and To-Be user journeys.
• Design wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes aligned with requirements.
• Refine designs via usability testing and feedback.
• Adhere to WCAG 2.0 and HDB Design System guidelines.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineers, and stakeholders to deliver design solutions.
• Engage in design reviews and QA to ensure quality.
• Participate in scrum ceremonies (e.g. sprint planning).
