Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking an engineering professional for a 1-year contract at the Changi Plant, onsite. The role focuses on designing equipment and tooling to improve manufacturing processes, and developing experiments to qualify and validate processes.

You will also develop training materials and provide technical guidance on software development, with exposure to robotics and AI-enabled programming for industrial applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering or scientific field equivalent with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced computer skills in Python, Power BI and other programmable languages.
• Knowledge in C# programming language is a plus.
• Experience with robotics foundation models, VLM, VLA models and LLMs for industrial applications is advantageous.
• Industry 4.0/5.0 projects with robotic programming or AI-assisted programming is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Job description

Contract duration: 1 Year Contract (renewable)

Location: Changi Plant (Onsite)

Job Scope:

• Design of equipment, tools, fixtures, etc. to improve manufacturing processes, employing technical design skills
• Develop moderately complex experiments and tests (including writing and executing protocols) to qualify and validate manufacturing processes; analyze results, make recommendations, and develop reports
• Develop training and documentation materials (e.g., work instructions) for production to enable the seamless knowledge transfer of project and manufacturing processes
• Provide technical guidance on software coding and development
• Assist in gathering validation data and deploying automation and process technology related projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering or scientific field equivalent with 3 years of relevant experience
• Advanced computer skills required, proficient and applicable knowledge in Python, Power BI and other programmable languages
• Knowledge in C-Sharp (C#) programming language will be an advantage
• Experience on robotics foundation models, Vision Language Models (VLM), Vision Language Action (VLA) models and LLMs for real-life industrial applications will be a plus
• Sensitive to Industry 4.0 and 5.0 requirements, with prior experience leading projects in that capacity ie. robotic programming, AI assisted programming etc
