Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an engineer to design equipment, tools, and fixtures to improve manufacturing processes, applying solid technical design skills.

You will develop moderately complex experiments, qualify processes, create protocols and reports, and contribute to automation projects using Python, Power BI, and C#.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or scientific field with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced computer skills with Python, Power BI and other programming languages.
• C# programming knowledge is an advantage.
• Experience with robotics foundation models, VLMs, VLA models and LLMs for industrial applications.
• Industry 4.0/5.0 awareness with project leadership in automation or AI-enabled programming.
• Automated equipment troubleshooting knowledge.

Responsibilities

Job description

Jobscope :

• Design of equipment, tools, fixtures, etc. to improve manufacturing processes, employing technical design skills
• Develop moderately complex experiments and tests (including writing and executing protocols) to qualify and validate manufacturing processes; analyze results, make recommendations, and develop reports
• Develop training and documentation materials (e.g., work instructions) for production to enable the seamless knowledge transfer of project and manufacturing processes
• Provide technical guidance on software coding and development
• Assist in gathering validation data and deploying automation and process technology related projects
• Work in cross functional teams to reduce or eliminate risks, issues, concern
• Ability to adapt and learn new skills
• Other incidental duties assigned by Leadership

Requirement :

• Bachelor of Engineering or scientific field equivalent with 3 years of Relevant Experience
• Advanced computer skills required, proficient and applicable knowledge in Python, Power BI and other programmable languages
• Knowledge in C-Sharp (C#) programming language will be an advantage
• Experience on robotics foundation models, Vision Language Models (VLM), Vision Language Action (VLA) models and LLMs for real-life industrial applications will be a plus
• Sensitive to Industry 4.0 and 5.0 requirements, with prior experience leading projects in that capacity ie. robotic programming, AI assisted programming etc
