Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a highly skilled engineer for a 12-month renewable contract onsite at Changi. The role focuses on designing and developing equipment, tools and fixtures to improve manufacturing processes, and supporting automation and Industry 4.0 initiatives.

You will work with cross-functional teams, run experiments and validation protocols, prepare technical documentation, and provide guidance on software coding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong Python and Power BI skills.
• Experience with robotics, AI/LLMs, and automation.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0/5.0 and GMP/FDA may be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Job Scope

• Design and develop equipment, tools and fixtures to improve manufacturing processes.
• Develop and execute experiments, tests and validation protocols; analyze results and prepare reports.
• Prepare work instructions, training and technical documentation for production teams.
• Support automation, process technology and validation projects.
• Provide technical guidance on software coding and development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related scientific field with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong programming/computer skills, particularly Python and Power BI.
• C# knowledge is an advantage.
• Experience with robotics, AI/LLMs, VLM/VLA or AI-assisted programming is highly advantageous.
• Experience in Industry 4.0/5.0, robotic programming or automation projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automated equipment troubleshooting.
• Experience with medical device manufacturing, GMP/GDP or FDA regulations is advantageous.
• CAD and MS Project knowledge preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and effectively with cross-functional teams, vendors and project stakeholders.
• Good documentation skills and strong attention to detail.
