Job summary

RRecruiter is assisting a Singapore-based global company in semiconductor and electronics testing solutions to recruit a Purchasing/Procurement professional. You will handle end-to-end purchasing, raise POs, and ensure on-time delivery of materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will use SAP MM and MRP to create POs, track orders, and maintain supplier data, while collaborating with Manufacturing, Engineering and Finance teams to align procurement with production needs and

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of purchasing/procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong hands‑on experience with SAP, particularly SAP MM and MRP.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong follow‑up skills with the ability to push suppliers and expedite deliveries.
• Good problem‑solving skills and the ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Proactive, responsible and self‑motivated with a strong sense of urgency.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end purchasing activities, including raising and managing Purchase Orders (POs).
• Monitor and follow up closely with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials and prevent production delays.
• Use SAP MM to create POs, track orders, monitor goods receipts and maintain supplier information.
• Work with MRP and production planning systems to align purchasing activities with production requirements and inventory levels.
• Monitor material availability and proactively identify potential stock shortages or supply risks.
• Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance and Logistics teams to understand material requirements and provide timely procurement support.
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers and follow up on delivery schedules, lead times and supply issues.
• Resolve purchasing and delivery discrepancies with suppliers and support improvements in supplier performance.
• Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies, procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and transaction records.
• Prepare purchasing reports, analyze procurement data and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce lead time and control costs.
