Job summary

Mattson Technology Singapore Pte Ltd seeks a meticulous Senior/Buyer to join the team. You will manage end-to-end supplier and procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiation, purchase orders, and inventory planning to support seamless supply chain operations.

The role also covers production transition and supplier performance improvement, with a focus on reducing lead times and ensuring material availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years’ procurement experience.
• Experience in semiconductor industry is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to write complex service and operating procedures

• Conducts supplier quoting and negotiation, considering project scope, budget, and margin targets.
• Creates Purchase Orders / Requisitions, maintaining Invoice tracking and Goods Receipts.
• Manages transition of parts from development to production start by reviewing ERP demands and coordinating with Master Scheduling and Sales.
• Works on highly complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues.

Our member company is seeking a meticulous and motivated Senior/ Buyer to join the team In this role, you will play a critical part in managing end-to-end supplier and procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiation, purchase orders, inventory planning, production transition and supplier performance improvement to ensure effective supply chain operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Conducts supplier quoting and negotiation, considering project scope, budget, and margin targets. Strategic development of suppliers, supplier selection and qualification, transition of products from engineering to production, project management and overall supplier performance.
• Creates Purchase Orders / Requisitions, maintaining Invoice tracking and Goods Receipts. Ensures the availability of materials in supply chain and manufacturing and the maintenance of inventory at minimum acceptable levels.
• Manages transition of parts from development to production start by reviewing ERP demands and coordinating with Master Scheduling and Sales. Assists with engineering prototype and development demands
• Works on highly complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues.
• Makes recommendations for new procedures to overcome existing obstacles.
• Leverages knowledge to work independently and drive supplier improvement, manages most critical and complex commodities. Responsible for development and execution of supplier performance metrics.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years’ procurement experience. Relevant experience in the semiconductor industry is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to write complex service and operating procedures
• Working knowledge of programs to construct electronic documentation and proficient knowledge in SAP HANA.
• Willingness to participate in occasional evening conference calls to support global business operations during Pacific time zone.
