Job summary

URA Urban Redevelopment Authority invites applications for a Data Manager role within URBEX and DPLab. You will collaborate with government agencies and multidisciplinary teams to strengthen how planning data is collected, governed, shared and used.

You will map workflows, surface data quality gaps, translate needs into data requirements, and work with technical teams to improve pipelines, platforms and applications. Strong stakeholder engagement and geospatial analytics experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning data governance and liveability/public sector context.
• Ability to translate planning needs into data requirements for data and engineering teams.
• Familiarity with geospatial data analytics and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Map planning workflows, data systems and pain points with agencies and stakeholders.
• Lead data quality governance and end-to-end workflow improvements.
• Translate planning/user needs into clear data and engineering requirements.
• Partner with technical teams to improve data pipelines, platforms and apps.
• Represent end-user and planning perspectives in architecture discussions.
• Own metadata, data access governance and compliance practices.
• Evaluate emerging data and AI technologies with practical use cases.
• Lead cross-agency initiatives and adoption of DPLab platforms.
