Job summary

Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore (URA) invites applications for a Data Manager within URBEX and the Design and Planning Lab (DPLab). You will lead data governance, improve planning data quality, and coordinate cross‑agency data workflows to support liveability and sustainable urban design.

You will collaborate with planners, data scientists, IT and policy stakeholders to translate needs into data solutions, implement metadata standards, and drive responsible data sharing and AI

Qualifications

• Experience in planning workflows, data requirements and governance.
• Knowledge of data quality, metadata and lifecycle management.
• Understanding of data pipelines, platforms and integration.
• Awareness of data access, security, governance and responsible sharing.
• Familiarity with geospatial data analytics or cloud data platforms is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage agencies to map planning workflows, data systems and pain points.
• Lead business analysis to surface gaps in data quality and end-to-end workflows.
• Translate planning needs into data, product and engineering requirements.
• Partner with technical teams to improve data pipelines and platforms.
• Represent end-user planning perspectives in architecture discussions.
• Own metadata, data access and governance practices across URA.
• Evaluate emerging data and AI technologies with structured use cases.
• Lead cross‑agency initiatives and adoption of DPLab platforms.
