Job summary

Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) Singapore is seeking a Data Manager to strengthen how planning data is collected, governed, shared and used. You will engage agencies and multi-disciplinary teams to map workflows, data systems and pain points, identifying actionable opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning/data governance, quality, and lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of geospatial data analytics and cloud data platforms would be advantageous.
• Ability to translate data needs into clear requirements across business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage agencies and stakeholders to map planning workflows and data systems.
• Lead business analysis to surface data quality gaps and governance improvements.
• Translate planning needs into data, product, and engineering requirements to align agencies and technical teams.
• Partner with technical teams to design and deliver data pipelines, platforms, and applications.
• Represent end-user and planning perspectives in product and architecture discussions.
• Own metadata, data access and governance practices across the organisation.
• Evaluate emerging data and AI technologies and recommend adoption pathways.
• Spearhead cross-agency initiatives to adopt DPLab platforms and capabilities.
