MAXHUNT RESOURCE PTE. LTD. seeks two Youth Workers for an UPLIFT Programme at Fern Green Primary School in Singapore. The role involves delivering an after-school support programme, supervising study sessions, and running engaging activities for Primary 3-6 students with high support needs.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of coaching experience, MOE registration, and First Aid with CPR/AED. English is the language of instruction and a valid work pass is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field; specialization in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Special Needs Education or related field preferred.
• At least two years of coaching experience in similar programmes.
• MOE registration and valid First Aid with CPR and AED (valid at ITQ closing date).
• Ability to deliver the programme in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver an engaging after-school support programme for approximately 40 identified Primary 3-6 students with high support needs; group size may increase to 50.
• Provide 90 minutes of supervised study per regular session to strengthen literacy and numeracy, followed by 30 minutes of activities.
• Use small-group activities, role-play and games to develop motivation, self-management, emotional regulation and school values; plan wet-weather alternatives.
• Plan three Learning Journeys and one Values-in-Action session aligned with objectives; coordinate with organisations and prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Prepare a programme outline for school approval; support alternative delivery if school requests suspension of in-person activities.
