Job summary

Synapxe in Singapore invites you to join as an intern and contribute to powering a healthier Singapore through healthtech innovation. In this role, you will support NGEMR integration with QMS and Self-Service Stations (SSS), participate in requirements gathering, document workflows and integration points, and assist in testing (SIT/UAT).

You will coordinate deployment with technical teams and vendors to ensure smooth data flow and system interoperability, and you will travel to Public Healthcare

Qualifications

• Undergraduate in Year 2 or 3 pursuing a degree in Business AI Systems, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Information Engineering & Media, or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and testing processes including UAT, SIT and regression testing.
• Keen interest in IT Project Management.
• Basic knowledge of system architecture, cloud computing, network and IT security.
• Possess strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptable, proactive and a strong team player.
• Exhibit leadership qualities with good verbal and written communications.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Passionate about re-imagining the future of HealthTech.

Singapore’s healthcare system is undergoing transformation with the implementation of the Next Generation Electronic Medical Record (NGEMR), a unified platform designed to enhance care delivery and enable seamless patient journeys across healthcare institutions. As part of this initiative, key downstream systems such as the Queue Management System (QMS) and Self-Service Stations (SSS) are being integrated with NGEMR to ensure smooth patient flow, improved operational efficiency, and enhanced patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the integration of QMS and Self-Service Stations (SSS) with NGEMR

Qualifications

• Undergraduate currently in Year 2 or Year 3, pursuing a degree in Business Artificial Intelligence Systems, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Information Engineering & Media, or a related discipline
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), application testing processes, including user acceptance testing (UAT), System Integration Testing (SIT) and regression testing
• Have a keen interest in IT Project Management
• Basic knowledge of system architecture, cloud computing, network and IT security.
• Possess strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
• Adaptable, proactive and a strong team player
• Exhibit leadership qualities with good verbal and written communications skills
