Job summary

Synapxe is seeking an enthusiastic intern to join the operations team supporting HEALIX, a cloud-based healthcare data platform. You will gain hands-on experience in system monitoring, incident management, and process improvements across cloud and on‑premises environments.

As an undergraduate in Year 2 or 3, you will learn to develop dashboards, support issue triaging, and contribute to automation and SOP documentation.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate in Year 2 or Year 3 pursuing a degree in Applied Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with data visualization or reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, OAS) is a plus; on‑the‑job learning expected.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to support issue triaging and identify process improvements.
• Proactive and self-driven mindset with curiosity and willingness to learn new ideas.
• Good communication and attention to detail, especially in documentation and SOP-related work.

Responsibilities

We are looking for intern(s) to join our operations team to support HEALIX, a cloud-based healthcare data platform, and related on‑premises systems. This internship provides hands‑on exposure to real‑world healthcare IT operations, including system monitoring, incident management, and process improvement initiatives. You will gain experience in enhancing operational workflows, supporting issue resolution, and developing automation solutions to improve efficiency.

The Selected Intern(s) Will Assist In Following

• Support system monitoring and reporting activities, including developing or enhancing dashboards to track system performance, issue trends, and operational metrics.
• Assist in incident and issue management, including logging, categorising, and tracking resolution progress across cloud and on‑premises systems.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline and optimise operational workflows.
• Support automation efforts, including assisting in the development or enhancement of scripts and tools to reduce manual and repetitive tasks.
• Assist in documentation and operational support, including data preparation, SOP updates, and supporting team deliverables.

About You

• Undergraduate currently in Year 2 or Year 3, pursuing a degree in Applied Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Basic familiarity with data visualisation or reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, OAS) is a plus; interns are expected to learn and build these skills on the job.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to support issue triaging and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Proactive and self‑driven mindset, with curiosity and willingness to explore new ideas and improve existing processes.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail, particularly in documentation and SOP‑related work.
