Job summary

ComfortDelGro Engineering Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Tyre Warehouse Assistant to support workshop and logistics operations. You will handle tyre identification, branding, inventory checks and order fulfilment.

Responsibilities include measuring tread depth, reporting defects, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring safety and housekeeping in the warehouse. Basic computer skills and forklift licence are preferred.

Qualifications

• Physical fitness to lift and move tyres throughout the shift.
• Basic computer skills including Excel, Word and Outlook for records.
• Forklift licence (preferred).
• Experience in tyre, automotive or logistics operations is advantageous.
• Able to work independently or in a team.

Tyre Warehouse Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Tyre Identification & Branding

  • Perform tyre serial number branding and labelling for all incoming and outgoing tyres.

• Inventory Management

  • Monitor and record incoming and outgoing tyre stock accurately.

  • Conduct regular stock checks and inventory counts to maintain inventory accuracy.

• Order Fulfilment

  • Pick, pack, and prepare the correct tyre models and related accessories for internal workshop operations and customer deliveries.

• Tyre Inspection & Measurement

  • Measure tyre tread depth and inspect tyre wear patterns.

  • Identify and report tyre defects, including excessive wear, punctures, bulges, or other safety concerns.

• Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of tyre inspections, inventory movements, and stock transactions.

  • Report discrepancies, damaged items, and safety issues promptly to supervisors.

• Workplace Safety & Housekeeping

  • Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and free from hazards.

  • Adhere to workplace safety procedures and company guidelines at all times.

Job Requirements

• Physically fit and able to handle, lift, move, and stack tyres throughout the workday.

• Able to understand tyre specifications, including tyre size, load index, and other tyre markings.

• Possess basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook for inventory and record management.

• Forklift operating licence is preferred.

• Experience in tyre, automotive, logistics, warehouse, or inventory-related operations will be an added advantage.

• Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
