Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented Banking Operations Analyst to support cross-functional migration projects within Wealth Investment Operations, Front Office, Legal, Risk and Technology.

You will assist with end-to-end migration plans, data remediation, pre- and post-migration validations, and BAU activities, ensuring accuracy of holdings and reconciliations while aligning with risk controls and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Business/Banking/Finance.
• 0-2 years in Banking, especially Investment/Treasury.
• Proficiency with MS tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint).
• Knowledge of Wealth Investment Securities/Derivatives is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support/end-to-end project migration plans and activities.
• Support end-to-end operational migration activities including data remediation.
• Perform pre- and post-migration checks and validations.
• Assist SMEs on BAU activities to review and validate scenarios.
• Update process notes to reflect migration changes.

Job Background/context:

The role will work cross-functionally with Wealth Investment Operation teams, Products, Front Office, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations and Technology.

Objectives will focus on key aspects such as risk mitigation, process efficiency, technology enablement and business development.

Duties:

• Support/Execute end-to-end project plans and project migration activities.
• Support/ Execute end-to-end operational migration activities, including contracts/agreements repapering if any, system checking, client/account data remediation etc.
• Perform pre and post migration checks and validation, including position holdings, reconciliations, system sanity checkouts.
• Support SMEs on BAU activities so that SMEs can review and validate complicated scenarios
• Support update of process note to incorporate project migration changes to procedures, where applicable.

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Business/Banking/Finance or related.
• 0-2 Years of experience in Banking, especially in Investment/Treasury Banking.
• Knowledge of MS tools; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint
• Knowledge of Wealth Investment Securities and Derivatives such as Foreign Exchange/ Foreign Exchange Options/ Fixed Income Securities will be an added advantage.
