Responsibilities

• Support/end-to-end project plans and migration activities.
• Support operational migration activities including data remediation and repapering where needed.
• Perform pre- and post-migration checks such as reconciliations and position holdings.
• Assist SMEs on BAU activities and validate complex scenarios.
• Update process notes to reflect migration changes.

Job description

The Investment Operations Analyst role will focus on supporting a Project related to Wealth Investment Securities and Products (Mutual Funds / Equities / Fixed Income Securities) for a MNC Bank.

The role will work cross-functionally with Wealth Investment Operation teams, Products, Front Office, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations and Technology.

Objectives will focus on key aspects such as risk mitigation, process efficiency, technology enablement and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support/Execute end-to-end project plans and project migration activities.
• Support/ Execute end-to-end operational migration activities, including contracts/agreements repapering if any, system checking, client/account data remediation etc.
• Perform pre and post migration checks and validation, including position holdings, reconciliations, system sanity checkouts.
• Support SMEs on BAU activities so that SMEs can review and validate complicated scenarios
• Support update of process note to incorporate project migration changes to procedures, where applicable.

Knowledge/Experience:

• Some experience of working in a Bank in Operations would be preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience

Skills and Competency:

• Strong knowledge of MS tools; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint
• Knowledge of Wealth Investment Securities and Products such as Mutual Funds/Equities/Fixed Income Securities and function and role of custodian will be an advantage.
• Good organizational, prioritization skills
• Ability to take initiative and work without constant supervision
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure & demonstrate capability to co-ordinate different tasks and perform related follow-up until completion
• Ability to communicate, present effectively
• Team player who is easy to work with, shows commitment and dedication, and can maintain both a positive attitude and high level of performance on high demand & time-sensitive initiatives
