Job summary

sggovterp is seeking a Transport AI Programme Senior Manager to lead LTA's Transport AI programme end-to-end, setting the multi-year strategy and building a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-impact AI products across public transport, traffic management, and road operations.

You will ensure AI systems are safe, trustworthy, and embedded into operational workflows, collaborating with operations, engineering, policy, and agency leadership, and reporting to the Director of Transport Technology.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience leading large-scale technology, AI, data, product, platform, or digital transformation programmes.
• Experience with government digital services, enterprise platforms, regulated environments, or public-sector transformation would be highly relevant.
• Strong fluency across modern AI and digital platforms including generative AI, LLMs, computer vision, data governance, and cloud-native delivery.
• Strong systems thinking, stakeholder influence, strategic communication, and governance/delivery discipline.
• Public-sector experience and ability to navigate complex institutional environments will be important for success.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI Strategy and Leadership, setting multi-year strategy aligned to transportation priorities.
• Oversee AI Product and Platform Development across cross-functional teams.
• Drive AI Adoption, capability-building, and innovation programmes across policy, operations, engineering and data teams.
• Build and mentor a multidisciplinary AI leadership team and govern operating model.
