Job summary

Land Transport Authority in Singapore is seeking an AI System Architect to own the Transport AI Programme's technical architecture, ensuring scalable, secure, and operable AI systems in critical public infrastructure.

You will guide engineering decisions, set standards, and coordinate with partners and cross-government platforms, reporting to the Programme Director and mentoring AI engineers.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of professional software or systems architecture experience, with AI or data-intensive focus.
• Familiarity with AI platform components: LLM serving, vector databases, orchestration, and MLOps.
• Experience in regulated/high-availability environments; strong stakeholder communication.
• Government, transport, or critical infrastructure domain experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end technical architecture for the Transport AI Programme.
• Set patterns and standards for generative AI, RAG, CV pipelines, and shared platforms.
• Lead architecture reviews with industry partners, ensuring security and resilience.
• Design AI infrastructure for evaluations, risk dashboards, drift monitoring, and playbooks.
• Collaborate with data governance, security, and policy teams on data protection.
• Provide technical leadership to AI software developers and engineers.
• Engage with cross-government platforms to align with national digital infrastructure.
