Job summary

Land Transport Authority (Singapore) invites you to join the Transport AI Programme as a Senior/Executive AI Software Developer. You will design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications spanning public transport operations, traffic management, and road operations.

You will integrate LLMs, computer vision models, and other AI components into production workflows, build APIs and data pipelines, and help establish guardrails and observability for reliable AI services in a regulated

Qualifications

3–6 years of software development experience with at least 2 years in AI/ML‑integrated systems.
Proficiency in Python and experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, PyTorch.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD.
Familiarity with responsible AI practices like evaluation harnesses and model monitoring.
Ability to work in cross‑functional Agile teams and communicate with technical/non‑technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications across transport use cases.
Integrate LLMs, computer vision models, and other AI components into workflows.
Evaluate inference engines and publish recommendations balancing performance, cost, and resilience.
Build and maintain APIs, microservices, and data pipelines connecting AI to operations.
Implement guardrails, observability tooling, and safe production practices.
Collaborate with industry partners and contribute to AI safety activities.
