Job summary

THYE HUA KWAN MORAL CHARITIES LIMITED is seeking an experienced educator to join the Early Intervention for Children (EIC) team in Singapore. You will lead and implement routine-based intervention programmes for young children, focusing on motor, communication, social, self-help and cognitive skills.

You will mentor Assistant Teachers, conduct appraisals, and coordinate home visits and parent meetings with a collaborative, child-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in a related field (Psychology, Early Childhood, Social Work, Special Needs)
• Experience teaching children aged 0–6 in Early Childhood or Early Intervention settings

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and implement routine-based intervention programmes to meet each child’s IEP
• Target functional outcomes through child engagement and naturalistic strategies
• Carry out recommended therapeutic strategies as part of a transdisciplinary team
• Prepare age-appropriate teaching resources based on children's interests
• Maintain a respectful learning environment with positive discipline
• Familiar with programme policies, health & safety, and emergency procedures
• Supervise and mentor Assistant Teachers and Teacher Aides
• Conduct annual performance appraisals and participate in cluster discussions
• Plan and participate in events; buddy new teachers; share external trainings
• Maintain timely submission of teaching-related documentation
• Conduct home and school visits and parents-teachers meetings
