Job summary

Swiss haute horlogerie maison is seeking an experienced Training Manager to lead retail training across Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Korea. You will report to the Director of Marketing and Sales and ensure regional retail teams understand the brand, quality standards, and collections in depth.

You will build strong relationships with retail partners, deliver impactful training at the point of sale, and oversee the annual regional training plan with budget responsibility.

Qualifications

• Degree in Training, Education or related field.
• 15+ years of experience as a trainer in luxury goods preferred.
• Familiar with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop the annual regional training plan and manage its budget.
• Oversee the LMS platform, user accounts, module rollouts and engagement activities.
• Organise classroom training including technical/movement training with internal and external partners.
• Design and deliver product and technical training for POS staff across the region.
• Develop training content and assess effectiveness of training.
• Identify training needs among retailers and adapt plans accordingly.
• Support regional sales events and exhibitions.
• Report on training activities and budget.

Our client, a prestigious Swiss haute horlogerie maison, is looking for an experienced Training Manager to lead retail training across Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Korea.

About the role

Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Sales, you will make sure retail teams across the region know the brand, its quality standards and its collections in depth. You will build strong relationships with retail partners and deliver training that makes a real difference at the point of sale.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the annual regional training plan with the Regional Sales Managers, and set and manage its budget
• Oversee the e-learning platform, including user accounts, module rollouts, new-model launches, quizzes and engagement activities
• Organise classroom training programmes, including technical and movement training, with internal departments and external partners
• Design, prepare and deliver product and technical training, including face-to-face sessions for point-of-sale staff across the region
• Help develop training content and tools, and assess how effective they are
• Identify training needs among retailers and address them in line with the approved plan
• Support regional sales activities such as retailer events and exhibitions
• Report on training activities and budget

Requirements

• Degree in Training, Education or a related field
• More than 15 years of successful experience as a trainer, ideally in watchmaking or luxury goods
• Familiar with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and proficient in Microsoft Office
• Willing to travel about 50% of the time
• Enthusiastic, customer-focused and passionate about training, with excellent interpersonal and listening skills
• Able to adapt to different audiences and comfortable in a multicultural environment
• Diplomatic, team-oriented and proactive in proposing ideas and solutions
