Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in engineering or equivalent, at least five years of relevant experience, and the ability to lead teams, conduct safety briefings, and ensure compliance with procedures. You will report on manpower, prepare records, and coordinate with clients, contractors, and site teams, with overtime

Qualifications

• Diploma in an engineering discipline or GCE A-Level or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum five years of relevant working experience.
• Railway, construction or transport-operations experience is preferred.
• Able to lead teams and conduct safety briefings.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and report preparation.
• Able to work independently and perform overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating and supervising daily works train operations.
• Support manpower planning, shift deployment and operational activities.
• Supervise controllers, station personnel, operators and shunters.
• Monitor compliance with operating procedures and safety requirements.
• Conduct safety briefings and communicate operational instructions.
• Respond to incidents and assist with recovery operations.
• Coordinate with the client, contractors and site teams.
• Monitor personnel performance, attendance and discipline.
• Prepare operational records, reports and manpower updates.
