Job summary

Gates PCM Construction Ltd is seeking a highly capable Works Train Operations Lead in Singapore. You will oversee overall operations, coordinate manpower and train movements, and ensure safety and efficiency across site activities.

The role requires a Diploma or equivalent with 5+ years in railway operations, strong leadership, and the ability to conduct safety briefings and manage incidents. Proactive coordination with clients and teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or GCE A-Levels with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of Works Train operations and railway safety requirements.
• Proficient in MS Office and able to submit weekly operational reports.
• Able to conduct safety briefings related to Works Train operations.
• Able to lead WTSS and WTO teams and work overtime when required.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the overall Works Train operations and related site activities.
• Plan and coordinate manpower, train movements, work schedules, and operational resources.
• Ensure Works Train and track-access activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and per approved procedures.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, project teams, and stakeholders for smooth operations.
• Conduct safety briefings and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Lead and manage incidents, accidents, emergencies, and recovery measures.
• Supervise the performance and activities of the Works Train operations team.
• Lead WTSS and WTO teams.
• Monitor operations and prepare regular reports for the Officer-in-Charge.
• Provide leadership to ensure effective and safe Works Train operations.
