Job summary

MCI CONSULTING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Logistics/Transport Operations Supervisor to coordinate daily delivery and trucking activities, assign jobs to prime mover drivers, and monitor operations to meet service levels.

You will manage inbound/outbound shipments, track driver progress with GPS, and ensure documentation compliance across PSA Portnet and CDAS CMS systems. Experience with PSA Haulier is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE O-Level qualification.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in traffic control, transport coordination or logistics.
• Good knowledge of Singapore roads and routes for driver allocation.
• Experience coordinating prime mover drivers is an advantage.
• Familiarity with PSA Portnet and Haulier Community System is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and ensure smooth daily delivery and trucking operations.
• Manage inbound and outbound shipments between yards, warehouses and customers.
• Plan and assign daily jobs to prime mover drivers based on delivery needs.
• Monitor drivers’ movements and progress using GPS tracking systems.
• Ensure all jobs are completed on time and accurately.
• Lead and support a team of prime mover drivers.
• Communicate with drivers to address issues and delivery concerns.
• Assign trucking jobs via the PSA Haulier Community System.
• Process documentation through the PSA Portnet System.
• Coordinate depot bookings through the CDAS CMS online system.
• Ensure proper cargo handling and driver documentation.
• Liaise with Customer Service to coordinate trucking arrangements.
• Collaborate with Operations Assistant Manager to improve efficiency.

Job description

Salary: S$2,800 – S$3,900 per month
Working Hours:

MORNING SHIFT: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 3:30pm
Saturday, 7:30am onwards until completion of daily tasks
Sunday: OFF

AFTERNOON SHIFT: Monday to Friday, 3:30pm onwards until completion of daily tasks
Saturday: OFF
Sunday, 7:30am onwards until completion of daily tasks

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate and ensure the smooth operation of daily delivery and trucking activities.

• Manage inbound and outbound shipments between yards, warehouses and customer destinations.

• Plan and assign daily jobs to prime mover drivers based on delivery requirements and priorities.

• Monitor and track drivers’ movements and job progress using GPS tracking systems.

• Ensure all assigned jobs are completed accurately and within the required timeframe.

• Manage and lead a team of prime mover drivers, providing guidance and support where required.

• Communicate closely with drivers to address operational issues, feedback and delivery concerns.

• Assign trucking jobs through the PSA Haulier Community System.

• Process and manage documentation through the PSA Portnet System.

• Coordinate depot bookings through the CDAS CMS online system.

• Ensure drivers maintain proper documentation and handle cargo safely to prevent damage.

• Liaise closely with Customer Service to coordinate trucking arrangements and fulfil customer requirements.

• Work closely with the Operations Assistant Manager to improve operational efficiency and resource utilisation.

• Support the company’s ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 22301 Integrated Management System requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE O-Level qualification.

• At least 4–5 years of relevant experience in traffic control, transport coordination, logistics or trucking operations.

• Good knowledge of Singapore roads and routes for effective job allocation to drivers.

• Experience managing or coordinating prime mover drivers will be an advantage.

• Familiarity with PSA Portnet and Haulier Community System will be an added advantage.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
