Job summary

Premium Logistics Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Traffic Controller to coordinate and optimize delivery fleet movements, ensuring timely deliveries, efficient route planning, and clear communication with drivers and clients. This role involves real-time updates, monitoring vehicle status, maintaining service standards, and supporting management with operational metrics.

The candidate should be flexible to work odd hours and hold a valid Class 3 license.

Qualifications

Valid Singapore Class 3 driving license.
Experience driving 14ft boxed trucks.
Willingness to work odd hours (e.g., late night / early morning).

Responsibilities

Coordinate and optimize the movement of delivery drivers to meet customer delivery requirements.
Provide real-time updates on job progress using the system to support operational transparency.
Monitor truck and delivery status to allocate resources efficiently and improve delivery performance.
Verify accuracy of driver delivery payouts and incentives to ensure correct compensation.
Prepare reports for management to track delivery performance and operational metrics.
Ensure KPIs are consistently met to maintain service standards.
Schedule and monitor vehicle maintenance and servicing to ensure fleet reliability.
Resolve operational issues encountered by drivers promptly to minimize delivery disruptions.
Comply with safety policies, procedures, and regulations at all times.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall logistics operations.
