Job summary

ENCORA TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a capable software engineer to deliver and support electronic trading platform applications.

You will develop Java-based services, maintain integrations, and build automation to enhance efficiency and resiliency. The role requires strong Java expertise, Linux system skills, and experience with CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis. You will collaborate across trading and infrastructure teams to ensure robust production

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of software development and application support experience.
• Strong Java development experience.
• Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting.
• Shell scripting (Bash, Korn Shell, Python, etc.).
• Experience with distributed, scalable, high-throughput applications.
• Performance tuning and optimization.
• Production support and root cause analysis.
• SQL and relational database knowledge.
• CI/CD pipeline and release management experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver application projects, enhancements, and change requests for electronic trading platforms.
• Develop and maintain Java-based applications, services, and integrations.
• Develop automation scripts and operational tooling to improve platform efficiency and resiliency.
• Support application onboarding, configuration, testing, deployment, and production implementation.
• Troubleshoot application, connectivity, and production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with business users, infrastructure teams, vendors, brokers, trading venues, and external counterparties.
• Support platform modernization, monitoring, automation, operational improvements, and resiliency initiatives.
• Participate in production support, release deployment, and operational readiness activities.
• Maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, and operational procedures.
