Job summary

Avensys Consulting Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a high-profile Equity Trading project in Singapore. You will develop and enhance critical trading platform components with a focus on invoicing, fee calculations, and trade booking functionalities.

You will design and implement Java-based solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure performance, reliability, and scalable delivery across the trade lifecycle.

Qualifications

5-7 years of hands-on Java backend development.
Experience with Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
Strong SQL, data modeling and performance optimization.
Experience with Git version control.
Knowledge of trading domain is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications for trading systems.
Develop modules supporting trade lifecycle, invoicing, fee calculation, and settlement.
Build and optimize downstream trade booking modules for back-office integration.
Collaborate with analysts, traders, QA, and architects to deliver scalable solutions.
Troubleshoot production issues and perform timely fixes.
Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards.
Participate in integration testing and deployment activities.
Support go-live readiness and post-deployment stabilization.
