Job summary

QUESSCORP SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a managed service resource to design, develop, implement, and support electronic trading platform solutions. The role focuses on Java-based applications, Linux system care, and automation to ensure high-throughput, resilient operations.

The candidate will work with vendor-based platforms, integrate with external counterparties, and support production deployment, monitoring, and platform modernization efforts in a Singapore-based environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years hands-on software development and support experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java development for enterprise applications.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with shell scripting (Bash, Korn Shell, Python, or equivalent).
• Experience developing and supporting high-throughput, distributed, scalable, and resilient applications.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Deliver application projects, enhancements, and change requests.
• Develop and maintain Java-based applications, services, and integrations.
• Develop automation scripts and operational tooling to improve efficiency and resiliency.
• Support application onboarding, configuration, testing, and production implementation.
• Troubleshoot application, connectivity, and production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with business users, application teams, infrastructure teams, vendors, and external counterparties.
• Support platform modernization, automation, monitoring, operational improvements, and resiliency initiatives.
• Participate in production support, release deployment, and operational readiness activities.
• Maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, and operational procedures.
