Qualifications

Responsibilities

We are seeking a managed service resource to support project delivery, enhancements, and production support for electronic trading platforms and integrations. The resource will be involved in the design, development, configuration, implementation, and support of solutions using vendor-based commercial trading and connectivity platforms to facilitate:

• Price discovery workflows
• Trade execution workflows
• Post-trade processing and trade lifecycle management
• Integration with external counterparties, brokers, trading venues, and internal applications

Key responsibilities include

• Deliver application projects, enhancements, and change requests.
• Develop and maintain Java-based applications, services, and integrations.
• Develop automation scripts and operational tooling to improve efficiency and resiliency.
• Support application onboarding, configuration, testing, and production implementation.
• Troubleshoot application, connectivity, and production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with business users, application teams, infrastructure teams, vendors, and external counterparties.
• Support platform modernization, automation, monitoring, operational improvements, and resiliency initiatives.
• Participate in production support, release deployment, and operational readiness activities.
• Maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, and operational procedures.

Core Technical Skills

• Minimum 4+ years of hands‑on software development and support experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java development for enterprise applications.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with shell scripting (Bash, Korn Shell, Python, or equivalent scripting languages).
• Experience developing and supporting:

• Strong understanding of application performance tuning and optimization.
