Job summary

Glencore is seeking a Trading Operations Analyst in Singapore to ensure accurate day-to-day trade processing, reconciliations and margin management. You will act as the interface between internal teams and external counterparties, resolving exceptions and maintaining strong controls.

The role requires 2+ years in trading operations, strong Excel skills, and experience with trade/order management systems. Background in carbon credits and OSN/Dubai structures desirable.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in trading operations or middle/back office within oil/commodities or related markets.
• Collaborative with strong controls and continuous improvement mindset.
• Strict attention to detail with the ability to resolve booking/PL discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Reconciliation and validation of Trades, costs and fees between ETRM and counterparties/exchanges.
• Generate/issue trade confirmations, contracts and invoices; resolve mismatches and amendments.
• Validate and approve brokers’ invoices for payment.
• Manage carbon emissions credits in delivery and payment processes.
• Monitor counterparty credit risk, limits, collateral, and margin calls.
• Admins for exchanges such as ICE, CME and SGX on limits and user setups.
• Contribute as SME on new business product initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
