Job summary

Li-Cycle in Singapore is seeking a detail‑driven Trade Operations Associate to support the Oil, Gas and Carbon business. You will ensure accurate day‑to‑day trade processing, reconciliations, margin management and contract/invoice generation to keep trading and settlement workflows running smoothly.

You will act as the operational interface between internal stakeholders and external counterparties, resolving exceptions quickly while maintaining strong controls and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Good commercial awareness of oil/commodities trading conventions.
• Experience with carbon registries and contract workflows.
• Basic scripting or data-automation skills (Power Query, VBA or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Reconciliation and validation of trades, costs and fees between systems and counterparties.
• Generation and issuance of trade confirmations, contracts and invoices; resolve mismatches.
• Validate brokers’ invoices payments and manage carbon credits inventory.
• Monitor counterparty credit risk, limits, collateral and margin calls.
• Administer exchanges on trading limits and user setups; support new product initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
