Job summary

A-IT Software Services Pte Ltd is seeking a trade settlement specialist to manage daily processing, ensure on-time settlements, and liaise with counterparties for issue resolution. The role requires knowledge of back-office operations, FX settlements, and strong attention to detail.

You will conduct end-of-day checks using Avaloq orderbooks and SWIFT Alliance, ensuring compliance with T+X+1 and related SLAs, while escalating risks when needed.

Qualifications

• Functional knowledge/experience in back-office support.
• Proficient in products & settlement processes for Foreign Exchange and FX Derivatives.
• Good team player, self-motivated with good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in stretched environment and meticulous.
• Diploma / Degree in Banking, Business Studies or other related course of studies.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily processing of trades and ensures on-time settlement across Equity, Bonds, Structured Products, OTC Derivatives, and Corporate actions.
• Liaise with counterparties and custodians to resolve trade mismatches or issues promptly.
• Ensure timely reconciliation with no breaks for cash, securities and GL accounts.
• Conduct end-of-day checks of Avaloq orderbooks and SWIFT Alliance queue to ensure no trades left unprocessed.
• Maintain compliance with policies and regulations including SFA’s T+X+1 and SLAs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Escalate issues and risks to Team Leader or Department Head promptly.
