Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced settlements professional to manage end-to-end post-trade processing and settlements for bonds, repos, CDS, U.S. Treasuries, and futures in Singapore.

The role requires 5+ years in post-trade/settlements within a regulated environment, hands-on use of custodian settlement portals, and solid SWIFT knowledge. You will contribute to reporting accuracy and operate with independence within a collaborative operations team.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in banking, finance, business, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of post-trade/settlements/operations experience in a regulated environment.
• Hands-on experience with custodian settlement portals (e.g., Euroclear EasyWay).
• Working knowledge of SWIFT settlement messaging (ISO 15022 / ISO 20022).
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage controls, exceptions, and time-sensitive deliverables.
• Comfortable working independently while also collaborating effectively with a wider operations team.
• Proficient in common office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, documents, email) for reporting and daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end post-trade processing and settlement for relevant products (e.g., bonds, repos, credit default swaps, U.S. Treasuries, futures).
• Execute and monitor settlements via custodian settlement portals (e.g., Euroclear EasyWay and other custodian platforms), ensuring timely completion.
• Handle netting/off-setting processes and coordinate the associated cash movements with appropriate parties.
• Interpret, validate, and process settlement-related SWIFT messages (ISO 15022 / ISO 20022) to support confirmations, settlement flow, and reporting.
• Produce and maintain key operations and control reports (e.g., unsettled/unmatched items, MIS, trade repository reporting), ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Calculate and process periodic introducer fees and broker commission rebates with strong attention to detail.
• Investigate and resolve operational breaks and respond to Front Office queries within agreed timelines.
• Participate in business continuity coverage, including overtime support and rotating public holiday duties when required.
