Job summary

Pearl Marine Logistics Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Third Officer (3/O) for bunker vessel operations within harbour limits. You will report to the Chief Officer and support safety drills, equipment maintenance and watch duties onboard ships.

The ideal candidate holds a COC Class II or III and has at least two years’ experience as 3/O on Oil/Chemical Tankers, with strong leadership and teamwork abilities and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• COC Class III or II.
• Minimum 2 years as Third Officer on Oil/Chemical Tanker.
• Good leadership, teamwork, management and communication skills.
• Willing to follow Company planned on-board schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor Life Saving and Fire Fighting equipment.
• Keep bridge, deck or cargo watch as required.
• Assist Master/Chief Officer in training, drills and demonstrations for crew.

Job description

The third officer (3/O) rank is not normally carried on board bunker vessels operating within harbour limits.

When they are carried, the third officer 3/O is responsible to the Chief Officer for;

• (a). Maintenance and monitoring of all Life Saving and Fire Fighting equipment in good order.
• (b). Keeping bridge, deck or cargo watch as required.
• (c). Assist the Master or the Chief Officer in carrying out training, drills & demonstration drills for the crew members.

• Minimum 2 years of experience on board as Third Officer on Oil / Chemical Tanker.

• Must be willing to follow Company planned working schedule on board vessel.
