Job summary

VY SYSTEMS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Technical Superintendent for oil tankers and bunker vessels to ensure technical excellence and regulatory compliance. The candidate will oversee PMS implementation, vessel surveys, and dry-dock planning.

Strong leadership and English communication are essential. At least 2 years in a similar role on oil tankers or bunker tankers is required, with COC Class 1-3; integrity and teamwork are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Tanker seagoing experience at Chief/Second/Third Engineer with COC Class 1-3 or
• alternative: at least 2 years as Technical Superintendent for oil tankers and bunker tankers.
• Minimum 2 years as Technical Superintendent managing oil/bunker tankers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vessels meet required technical standards and maintain optimal performance.
• Update and maintain vessel certificates and technical documentation.
• Implement and monitor the Company's Planned Maintenance System (PMS).
• Coordinate and manage class, statutory, and other vessel surveys.
• Plan and oversee dry-docking, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Review and support vessel crew performance.
• Prepare, manage, and monitor technical budgets.
• Perform other technical duties as assigned.

• Implement and monitor the Company's Planned Maintenance System (PMS).
• Coordinate and manage class, statutory, and other vessel surveys.

• Review and support vessel crew performance.
• Prepare, manage, and monitor technical budgets.
• Perform other technical duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Tanker seagoing experience as a Chief Engineer, Second Engineer, or Third Engineer, with COC Class 1 to 3; OR at least 2 years of experience as technical superintendent for oil tankers and bunker tankers.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Technical Superintendent managing oil tankers and bunker tankers.
• Strong sense of integrity and professionalism.
• Excellent leadership, teamwork, management, and communication skills.
• Able to speak and write effectively in English.
