Job summary

V-Bunkers Tankers Pte Ltd seeks a hands-on Operations professional to manage on-board bunker transfers, ensuring accurate quantity and quality per nominations, while maintaining inventory and reporting variances to the Operations Executive.

Role requires 1–2 years in bunker operations or related formal education; you will follow safety regulations on board and perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience in bunker operation with 1–2 years is preferred.
• Formal education combined with bunker operation exposure is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Report to Operations Executive and oversee on-board cargo custody transfers and loading/discharging instructions.
• Maintain on-board cargo inventory and promptly report discrepancies to Operations Executive.

Job Responsibilities

• Report to duty Operations Executive and responsible for on board cargo custody transfers loading and discharging instruction from Operation Executive.
• Responsible for on board cargo inventory and any discrepancy report immediately to Operation Executive.
• Compliance with all SS 600, SS 524, SS 648 and statutory requirements and procedures on board.
• Disseminating all loading and delivery nomination information’s to the Master and the Chief Officer upon receiving instruction from Operation Executive.
• Ensuring that the bunker supply is correct quantity and quality as per given nomination.
• Responsible for updating office the relevant copies of delivered and loaded documents as and when return to shore.
• Responsible for all loading and delivery representative sealed samples are collected accordance to SS600 sampling requirements and procedures.
• To follow all Safety aspects and regulations on board the barge.
• Ad-hoc duties as and when assigned.

Job Requirements

• Qualifications from a tertiary institution recognized by the Administration or a recognised organisation, or
• Other formal education combined with at least 1-2 years experience in Bunker operation.
