Job summary

Pearl Marine Logistics Pte. Ltd. is seeking a qualified Third Engineer to oversee the engine room watch and maintenance on an oil/chemical vessel, stationed in Singapore.

The role requires hands-on supervision of propulsion systems, boilers, and associated testing, with adherence to safety practices and company schedules. Qualifications include a valid COC Class II or III and at least 2 years on board as Third Engineer.

Qualifications

• COC Class II or III certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience on board as Third Engineer on Oil/Chemical vessel.
• Strong leadership, teamwork and communication skills.
• Must be willing to follow company planned working schedule on board vessel.

Responsibilities

• In charge of engine room watch.
• Maintenance of all plant with attention to main propulsion engines mountings, auxiliary engines, boilers, water and lube oil testing.
• Adoption of safe working practices.
• Other duties assigned by Chief Engineer and Second Engineer as appropriate.

Job description

The Third Engineer is responsible to the Second Engineer.

The Third Engineer duties and responsibilities include;

• (a). In charge of engine room watch.
• (b). The maintenance of all plant with attention to the main propulsion engines mountings, auxiliary engines, boilers, water and lube oil testing.
• (c). The adoption of safe working practices.
• (d). The other duties assigned to him by the Chief Engineer and Second Engineer as appropriate.
