Job summary

MGM SHIP MANAGEMENT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced bunker clerk/cargo officer to manage cargo release, bunkering operations and stock control aboard bunkering tankers. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and accurate documentation. Shift duties onboard are required; training is provided if needed.

Applicants should hold certifications in bunkering practices (SS600 & TR48) and bunkering metering (SS648) and have onboard vessel experience to ensure smooth delivery processes.

Qualifications

• Experience as bunker clerk/cargo officer onboard bunker tankers preferred.
• Certifications in bunkering practices and mass flow metering.
• Able to work shifts onboard vessel.
• Training provided if requirements not met.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and instruct cargo release
• Ensure sufficient cargo on board
• Provide full spectrum of bunker operation and ensure smooth delivery
• Ensure accuracy of quality and quantity of bunkers are being delivered safely and efficiently.
• Restructuring of the code according to the bunker processes (pre, during and post)
• Perform physical tank soundings to confirm quantity on board and delivered
• Responsible for stock control, cargo calculations and documentations
• Coordinate with Customers for necessary precautions pertaining Safety, Health and Environment.

Requirements

• Year Experience as bunker clerk/cargo officer onboard bunker tankers preferred
• Certification in Basic & Advanced Course on Bunkering Practices (SS600 & TR 48)
• Certification in Code of Practice for Bunker Mass Flow Metering (SS 648)
• Able to do shift duties and stay onboard vessel
• Training provided if requirements not met
