Job summary

Otis Elevator Co. is seeking a Testing & Commissioning Engineer in Singapore. You will ensure lift and escalator installations are tested, commissioned, and handed over in compliance with safety regulations, specifications, and Otis standards.

The role involves reporting, coordinating with project teams, and providing technical support to installers and customers. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering with at least 3 years’

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in lift/elevator commissioning or related field.
• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Job Description

The Testing & Commissioning (T&C) Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all lift and escalator installations are tested, commissioned, and handed over in full compliance with safety regulations, contractual specifications, and company standards. This role plays a critical part in delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality vertical transportation systems to customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in lift/elevator commissioning or related field
• Strong understanding of lift, escalator and moving walk systems, control panels, drive systems, and safety mechanisms
• Willingness to travel to project sites and work flexible hours when required
• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards and regulations
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
