Job summary

Otis Singapore is seeking a Senior Technician to deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality maintenance and support services. You will service elevators, escalators and related systems, respond to breakdown calls, and ensure compliance with local codes and EH&S standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Nitec level in Engineering.
• Experience in service and maintenance of elevators and escalators.
• CoC in Lift/Escalator Maintenance is a plus.
• Team player and willing to learn on the job.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing of elevators, escalators and mechanical-parking systems per local code.
• Check, oil, grease, and adjust mechanical components; troubleshoot and test safety devices.
• Attend breakdown maintenance calls at various sites; support service targets and quality standards.
• Comply with EH&S procedures and BC A requirements where applicable.

Role Overview

Responsibilities

Carry out servicing of elevators, escalators and mechanical-parking systems that includes checking, oiling, greasing, mechanical adjustment, troubleshooting, testing of safety devices, inspection and parts recommendation and replacement, in accordance to local code of practice. Demonstrate understanding of Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) procedures and comply accordingly on the job. Attend to breakdown maintenance calls at various job sites. Support Service Operations Team to achieve department objectives on service sales targets and service quality standards. Familiar with BCA requirement.

Requirements

Diploma, Higher Nitec or Nitec level in Engineering. Relevant work experiences on service and maintenance of elevators and escalators. Certificate of Competency (CoC) in Lift/Escalator Maintenance (good to have). Team player and willing to learn on the job.
