Qualifications

• NITEC in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering/ Building Environment.
• Minimum 2 years experience in lift/escalator maintenance, servicing, installation, inspection or QA/QC.
• Ability to perform visual and functional inspections and document findings.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, functional, and final inspections of lifts and escalators at sites.
• Conduct safety and compliance inspections per statutory regulations and ISO standards.
• Inspect components such as motors, control panels, braking systems, doors, and safety devices.
• Carry out functional tests including emergency stops, alarms, and interlocks.
• Identify defects and non-conformances; recommend corrective actions.
• Verify systems meet quality, safety, and operational requirements before handover.
• Prepare inspection reports and compliance records.
• Coordinate with engineering, installation and maintenance teams for rectifications.
• Assist in commissioning activities and system handover inspections.
• Maintain accurate inspection records per ISO and regulatory requirements.

Our Client, is a leading provider of elevator, escalator and moving walk solutions in Singapore. is inviting qualified candidates to fill the position ofQC Inspector.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform visual, functional, and final inspections of lifts and escalators at operational buildings and commissioning sites.
• Conduct safety and compliance inspections in accordance with statutory regulations, ISO standards, and OEM requirements.
• Inspect lift and escalator components, including motors, control panels, braking systems, cables, doors, and safety devices.
• Carry out functional tests such as emergency stops, alarms, door interlocks, and other safety protection systems.
• Identify defects, hazards, and non-conformance issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Verify that all systems meet quality, safety, and operational requirements before handover.
• Prepare inspection reports, quality documentation, and compliance records.
• Coordinate with engineering, installation, and maintenance teams to support rectification works.
• Assist in commissioning activities and system handover quality inspections.
• Maintain accurate inspection records in accordance with ISO and regulatory requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:
