Job summary

PERSOL in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Electro-Mechanical Assembler for a 1-year contract based at Upper Changi. You will assemble, test and repair electrical/electromechanical components, reading schematics and using test equipment to verify performance.

Role requires a Nitec or Diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering, ability to follow instructions, and willingness to work day, noon or night shifts with transport provided. Opportunities for extension depend on performance.

Qualifications

• Min. Nitec / Diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering or relevant field.
• Able to read and understand electrical schematics / circuit diagrams.
• Comfortable performing hands-on assembly, testing and troubleshooting work.
• Experience in electrical, electro-mechanical, semiconductor assembly or testing will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies and components.
• Read and work with schematics, circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams and work instructions.
• Perform testing using electronic measurement equipment, test fixtures, leak detectors and vacuum pumps.
• Identify defects, troubleshoot issues and correct assembly or testing errors.
• Inspect incoming parts and ensure all required components are available for production.
• Record production, testing and work-related information using computer systems.
• Support process improvements and assist with troubleshooting during testing.
• Follow all workplace safety, quality and operational procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized working environment.

Working Hours

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Noon Shift: 4:00 PM - 1:30 AM ($500+ Allowance/month) & transport provided
• Night Shift: 11:30 PM - 9:00 AM ($700+ Allowance/month) & transport provided

Duration

1 year contract - extendable / convertible to perm based on performance based on business needs and performance

Salary

Up to $3,600/month + shift allowance + completion bonus
