Job summary

PERSOL is hiring for an electrical/electro-mechanical assembler in Singapore. The role involves assembling, testing and repairing assemblies, reading schematics and complying with safety and quality procedures.

Training and growth opportunities are available within a structured production environment. The position is a 1-year contract with potential extension or conversion based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Min. Nitec or Diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering.
• Able to read and understand electrical schematics/circuit diagrams.
• Comfortable performing hands-on assembly, testing and troubleshooting work.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies and components.
• Read and work with schematics, circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams and work instructions.
• Perform testing using electronic measurement equipment, test fixtures, leak detectors and vacuum pumps.
• Identify defects, troubleshoot issues and correct assembly or testing errors.
• Inspect incoming parts and ensure all required components are available for production.
• Record production, testing and work-related information using computer systems.
• Support process improvements and assist with troubleshooting during testing.
• Follow all workplace safety, quality and operational procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized working environment.

Job description

Work location: Upper Changi

Working Hours: 12 hours rotating shift (4 days' work, 3 days off, 3 days' work, 4 days off)

Salary: up to $3300/month + completion bonus + shift allowance

Duration: 1 year contract - extendable/convertible to perm based on performance & business needs

Current Shift Schedule – Immediate Until December:

Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Noon Shift: 4:00 PM – 1:30 AM ($500+ Allowance/month) & transport provided

Night Shift: 11:30 PM – 9:00 AM ($700+ Allowance/month) & transport provided

January 2027 onwards:

Morning shift - 7AM to 7PM - Allowance: $20 per shift (around $300–$320/month in allowance)

Night shift - 7PM to 7AM - Allowance: $45 per shift (around $680-$700/month)

• Min. Nitec / Diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering or relevant field.
• Able to read and understand electrical schematics / circuit diagrams.
• Experience in electrical, electro-mechanical, semiconductor assembly or testing will be advantageous.
• Comfortable performing hands-on assembly, testing and troubleshooting work.
• Able to follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Comfortable working in a confined spaces, high/low spaces and full PPE environment
