Job summary

PERSOL Singapore is seeking an electronics assembler for a 1-year contract at Upper Changi. You will assemble, test and repair electro-mechanical assemblies, reading schematics and following test procedures.

Ideal candidates have a Diploma or Nitec in mechanical/electrical engineering and hands-on experience with electrical testing. The role includes a completion bonus and shift allowance, with a clear path to extension or permanent employment based on performance.

Qualifications

• Min. Nitec / Diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering.
• Able to read electrical schematics / circuit diagrams.
• Experience in electrical, electro-mechanical, semiconductor assembly or testing advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies and components.
• Read and work with schematics, circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams and work instructions.
• Perform testing using electronic measurement equipment, test fixtures, leak detectors and vacuum pumps.
• Identify defects, troubleshoot issues and correct assembly or testing errors.
• Inspect incoming parts and ensure all required components are available for production.
• Record production, testing and work-related information using computer systems.
• Support process improvements and assist with troubleshooting during testing.
• Follow all workplace safety, quality and operational procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized working environment.

Salary: up to $3300/month + completion bonus + shift allowance

Duration: 1 year contract - extendable/convertible to perm based on performance & business needs

• Able to follow written and verbal work instructions.

• Comfortable working in a confined spaces, high/low spaces and full PPE environment
