Job summary

MCI Career Services Pte Ltd in Singapore is hiring for an electronics/electro-mechanical assembler on a 1-year contract. The role focuses on assembling, repairing and testing electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies, following schematics and wiring diagrams.

The incumbent will perform fault troubleshooting, use leak detectors and vacuum pumps for testing, and update progress in the system.

Qualifications

• Minimum Nitec in Engineering or equivalent.
• 1 year of relevant experience.
• Comfortable with clean room environment.
• Able to follow technical drawings, schematics and work instructions.
• Comfortable with hands-on assembly and troubleshooting work.
• Willing to work on shift schedule (preferred shift can be indicated).

Responsibilities

• Assemble, repair and test electrical / electro-mechanical / vacuum / pneumatic assemblies and components using schematics, wiring diagrams, parts lists and work instructions.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations including troubleshooting and rectification of faults.
• Use test fixtures and measurement equipment (e.g., leak detectors, vacuum pumps) to test assemblies and sub-assemblies.
• Update work progress / expenses / labour details via computer terminal; may support basic programming, repair or software installation when required.
• Conduct parts receiving and audits to ensure required materials are available for build/test/repair.
• Inspect parts for defects and support improvements in troubleshooting and work processes.
• Maintain good housekeeping and comply with workplace safety, health and security standards at all times.
