Job summary

PERSOL Singapore is recruiting for an Electrical/Mechanical Assembler on a 1-year contract at Upper Changi. The role involves assembling, testing, troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical assemblies, reading schematics, following instructions, and maintaining a clean, safe working environment during night shifts from 11:30 PM to 9:00 AM.

The successful candidate will have at least a Nitec or Diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering, the ability to read electrical diagrams,

Qualifications

• Min. Nitec / Diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering or relevant field.
• Able to read and understand electrical schematics / circuit diagrams.
• Experience in electrical, electro-mechanical, semiconductor assembly or testing will be advantageous.
• Comfortable performing hands‑on assembly, testing and troubleshooting work.
• Able to follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Comfortable working in a confined spaces, high/low spaces and full PPE environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies and components.
• Read and work with schematics, circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams and work instructions.
• Perform testing using electronic measurement equipment, test fixtures, leak detectors and vacuum pumps.
• Identify defects, troubleshoot issues and correct assembly or testing errors.
• Inspect incoming parts and ensure all required components are available for production.
• Record production, testing and work-related information using computer systems.
• Support process improvements and assist with troubleshooting during testing.
• Follow all workplace safety, quality and operational procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized working environment.

Work location: Upper Changi
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - Night Shift: 11:30 PM – 9:00 AM ($700+ Allowance/month) & transport provided
Duration: 1 year contract - extendable / convertible to perm based on performance based on business needs and performance
Salary: Up to $3,600/month + shift allowance + completion bonus
