Job summary

STMicroelectronics in Singapore seeks a motivated engineering professional to join the Test R&D Software Solution team. You will develop automation and robotics software, oversee application development, and collaborate across factories, IT, product groups, quality, finance, suppliers, and management.

The role demands a Master’s in a relevant field, strong English, and hands-on experience with C#, C++, Java, Python, Git, SQL/SQLite, and XML/XSD. 1–2 years in industrial automation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in a relevant field
• Excellent command of English, written and spoken
• Strong knowledge of C#, C++, Java and Python
• Familiarity with Git and versioning workflows
• Experience with databases and SQL/SQLite; XML/XSD know-how
• 1–2 years in industrial automation, preferably in semiconductors

Responsibilities

• Analyze processes to automate using standard technology bricks
• Develop prototypes and software solutions, internally or with suppliers
• Benchmark different software solutions from technical and economic perspectives
• Coordinate software development projects, assess costs, benefits, risks and issues
• Report project status to executive management
