Job summary

STMicroelectronics is seeking a motivated engineering professional to join the Test R&D Software Solutions team within Global Technology R&D. You will develop automation software, oversee applications, and work in a multinational environment with factories, IT, product groups, quality, finance, suppliers, and executive management.

The role requires a Master’s in a relevant field, strong English, and 1–2 years in industrial automation, preferably semiconductor.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer engineering, electronic engineering, or computer science.
• Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken).
• 1–2 years' experience in the industrial automation sector, preferably in the semiconductor sector.

Responsibilities

• Analyze processes to automate them using standard technology bricks.
• Develop prototypes and software solutions internally or with external suppliers.
• Conduct technical and economic benchmarks between different software solutions.
• Build and coordinate software development projects, evaluating costs, benefits, risks and issues.
• Report project status to executive managers.
