Job summary

STMicroelectronics in Singapore is seeking a senior software developer for the Test R&D Software Solution team within the Global Technology R&D organization.

You will be responsible for developing and delivering advanced and scalable software platforms that accelerate the testing design and development as well as building the foundations for efficient test manufacturing through equipment automation including enabling equipment robotization readiness.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer engineering, electronic engineering or computer science.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• 5–7 years of experience in the industrial automation sector, preferably in the semiconductor sector.
• Knowledge of C#, C++, Java and Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop and qualify the test cell controller and test execution frameworks used in the manufacturing environment.
• Develop and release tools or systems focusing on test data processing at product level.
• Analyze processes to automate them using standard technology bricks.
• Design, develop and release tools or systems focusing on test development and process monitoring tools.
• Conduct technical and economic benchmarks between different software solutions.
• Report the project status to executive managers.
