Job summary

STMicroelectronics is seeking a motivated engineering professional to join the Test R&D Software Solution team within the Global Technology R&D organization. You will develop automation and robotics software, oversee application development, and collaborate with factories, IT, product groups, quality, finance, suppliers, and management in an international environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer engineering, electronic engineering or computer science.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• 5+ years experience in the industrial automation sector, preferably semiconductor.
• Proficient in C#, C++, Java, Python; strong OO programming.
• Experience with Git/versioning, databases/SQL, SQLite, XML/XSD.

Responsibilities

• Analyze processes to automate them using standard technology bricks.
• Develop prototypes and software solutions with internal teams or external suppliers.
• Conduct technical and economic benchmarks between software solutions.
• Lead software development projects and report status to executives.
